Wednesday WiPs - June 8

Worked on a couple of projects today.  I got 32 Unit 1As and 32 Unit 1Bs sewn together for Just The Basics QAL, hosted by Leanne at Devoted Quilters  and 4 'Middles' done for Rainbow Rose QAL hosted by Modern Quilters Ireland.  I've been nursing a sore thumb for a few days and after the pressure from cutting yesterday and this morning the pain is shooting up my arm, time for a break I think :)

Linking up with Rainbow Rose QAL at Modern Quilters Ireland,   Let's Bee Social #128 at Sew Fresh Quilts  and Midweek Makers 123 at Quilt Fabrication.

  1. How exciting to see the starting piecing for the Rainbow Rose QAL. I'll be sewing my blocks together this morning, too!

    1. I read about it on your blog and decided to jump in. It should be a fun and quick quilt along, fits in nicely with all the BOMs and monthly QALs I have on the go.

    1. Thanks for dropping by Susan. I only just found Midweek Makers, it's nice to have places to share and link to. The bonus being I get to see what others are doing, there is always the chance of finding another BOM or QAL or project I just HAVE to do. :)

    1. It's almost embarrassing how many pies I have my fingers into LOL Time is one thing I seem to have a lot of and keeping busy keeps me sane... most of the time ;)

    1. Thank you Lisa, I didn't do a fabric pull, just going by the tutorial pictures as I go. Should be interesting to see what the end result is ;) I enjoy seeing what everyone else comes up with, it's amazing how different the same pattern can look. I'll be looking for yours when you get it posted.

  5. Lovely choices for your Rainbow Rose. I am taking part too and it's been really interesting how it's made me think a lot about colour - which has to be a good thing.

    1. Sharing, visiting, linking up are what these blogs are all about for me. I love that you've made Rainbow Rose a quick Quilt-A-Long, with so many once a month projects on the go it's nice to have one that will be completed in a few weeks :)
