I love Kona ... huh?

I love the colors... I'm just not keen on working with solids BUT it's a link up hosted by Jenn at A Quarter Inch From The Edge  and a chance to see what others are doing with their solids and who knows what other wonderful things are around the corner.  I took a cyber trip over to the Palette Builder at Play Crafts, thanks for that Jenn!  And my results:
Boscastle, Cornwall England

Clovelly, Cornwall England

Amsterdam

Dingle Beach, Halifax Nova Scotia
Don't ask me to name the colors, but I do LOVE them!

    1. LOL @ Kona side. I love the colors, it's working with solids that makes me cringe a bit. I think, as my stitching improves, more Kona solids will find their way into my quilts.

  3. Psst... the Palette Builder will name them for you! And isn`t it a fun way to build potential colour palettes for quilts? You're welcome!
    Thanks for linking up!

    1. I thought I had seen the names, but they didn't save. I'll have to jot them down next time I play with Palette Builder. What a wonderful tool :)

  4. I'm oddly drawn to the colors from Clovelly, Cornwall England which is odd because I would tell you I really don't like purples! And it's a cold palette. But something is making me want them for my very own!!!

    1. Cold works for Clovelly, it gets harsh winds of the North Atlantic. I was there in January a couple of years ago, only spent one night, but it was a cold one. I was corrected about it being in Cornwall, it's actually in Devon.

    1. Not too bad for solids ;) Especially that green. I am joking, I do like solids, I'm just not brave enough yet to use many solids in my quilts.

  8. Looks like you did have a wonderful time playing around with the palette builder, Kathy. Those are some pretty colours! They would all look great in a solids quilt!
